1. What TrueLink Is

TrueLink is a trust-verification platform. It lets users create a verified profile, search for other users' trust information, and leave or receive reviews based on real interactions.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One person may hold only one TrueLink account. Creating duplicate accounts to manipulate scores or reviews is not allowed.

3. Trust Scores Are Not a Guarantee

Your Trust Score and any information shown on a profile — including reviews and verification status — are indicators based on available data. They are not a guarantee of a person's honesty, reliability, or intentions. Always use your own judgment before sending money, meeting someone, or entering an agreement.

4. Aurea (TrueLink's AI Assistant)

Aurea is an automated assistant that summarizes trust-related information from our database and, over time, learns conversational patterns from public posts on TrueLink's community feed. Aurea's responses are informational only — they do not constitute financial, legal, or safety advice, and TrueLink is not liable for decisions made based on Aurea's responses.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Posting false reviews or manipulating another user's Trust Score
• Harassing, threatening, or impersonating another user
• Using TrueLink to facilitate illegal activity

6. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including accounts linked to fraudulent verification or repeated abuse reports.

7. Limitation of Liability

TrueLink is a platform that facilitates trust information between users. We are not a party to any transaction, deal, or agreement made between users, and we are not liable for losses arising from interactions between users off-platform.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and password (encrypted)
• Optional profile information: phone number, bio, date of birth, location, work/education details, and social media links — you choose what to share
• Device information: a device fingerprint used only to prevent duplicate accounts
• Activity data: reviews you post, posts on the community feed, and messages with Aurea

2. Why We Collect It

• To verify your identity and calculate your Trust Score
• To prevent fake accounts and fraudulent activity
• To let other users find and evaluate your public trust profile
• To improve Aurea's understanding of natural conversation over time

3. What We Don't Do

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your private messages with Aurea to identify you to other users — one user's conversation with Aurea is never shared with another user.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, an encrypted cloud database provider. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

5. Your Rights

• You can edit or remove most of your profile information at any time from your Dashboard.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

6. Community Learning

Public posts on the TrueLink community feed may be used, in aggregate and anonymized form, to help Aurea learn natural language patterns. This does not involve building a personal profile of your beliefs or behavior — only general phrasing and tone.

1. What Cookies We Use

TrueLink uses only essential cookies and browser session storage required to keep you logged in and to remember your session while you use the platform. These are necessary for the site to function and cannot be disabled while using TrueLink.

2. What We Don't Use

TrueLink does not currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We do not sell browsing data to advertisers.

3. Session Expiry

Your login session is cleared automatically when you close your browser, for your security.

4. Managing Cookies

You can clear cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will log you out of TrueLink.
